Advanced Training: Joint Symbols Seminar

"Disease is Polarity; Healing is the overcoming of the Polarity" ~Detlefsen / Dahlke: 'Disease as Path'

Advanced Training: Joint Symbols Seminar
Example of the Scissor Relationship of the Joints

In the Esogetics Holistic Medicine Advanced Seminar on the Joint Symbols, we are combining the knowledge of the Social or Love Axis in psycho-physiognomy according to Carl Huter along with the Scissors Effect of the Joints. The Social or Love Axis defined by Huter runs essentially from the tip of the hair line on the forehead to the C4/C5 juncture of the spine, and hints to the tenderness, love life and reserved strength of the individual. Additionally, each joint tells us a story, or information and we are working to understand the story that each of the joints are telling us to help the individual move more freely through their life path.

"Disease is a Symbol. Healing is the understanding of the Symbol." ~Peter Mandel

The Joints we work with through Colorpuncture

In the standard Colorpuncture Certification, we learned how we could work on the joints with therapies like the Joint Rhombus, the OGT's Spine specific and Spine general, and the multitude of Esogetics Converter Points for pain, just to name a few. In this advanced training, we're taking a deeper, in-depth look at each of the joints specifically, and the meanings and symbolism of each joint. We then utilize higher level therapies (these therapies would be placed in the Formative Field of the Esogetics Model) to help shift and repattern the information flow. Interestingly these meanings and symbolism are very similar to the information you would find from Louise Hay's book "You can Heal Your Life", though the information from Louise Hay is not talked about in this training.

Shoulders

The basic symbolism with this joint hints to the term "fears" when there are issues in the front, while the term "emotional blockages or baggage that make the person more rigid" via the back.

Shoulders

Elbow Joints

The basic symbolism with this joint hints to the terms "greed and always wanting to be first" when there are issues in the back, while the terms "all encompassing grief, doubt, loss, melancholy and permanently renouncing" are talked about in the front.

Wrist & Hand Joints

The basic symbolism with this joint talks about "action" and hints to the terms "joy and serenity" on the inside, as well as the term "grasping, understanding, and handling life".

Shoulders

Hip Joint

The basic symbolism with this joint is dealing with the aspect of what we bring into life with us, our driving force, our implicit program, our stuckness along our path, as well as our karma. The effect of this joint can also be seen in an upward direction in the spine as well as the downward direction of the legs.

Knee Joints

In the basic symbolism of this joint, our very first thought is always the term "fear, fear of taking the next step forward in life." Additionally, this joint has strong ties to the aspects of intuition, acting from the gut, freedom, and issues with a person closing down.

Ankle Joints

The ankle joint, much like the knee joint, is a very multifaceted joint. Here we are seeing aspects connected to the knee joint along with the terms "imagination", "burdens", "regulation", "aggression", and "registration". Additionally, there is a strong connection between mental regulation, bringing our program into this life, as well as being able to digest life (Acupuncture point ST41 is located here).

Lumbar-Sacral Joint

This is one of the most extensive joint symbols of the entire body. The special symbolisms of this joint are all about movement and the partnership with self, movement laterally, forward, backward as well as turning. Meanings we see here are things like "avoidance and sidestepping", "humility and gratefulness", "being upright and honest", and "gaining perspective".

TMJ/Jaw Joint

The perseverance and tenacity for life is a great way to describe this joint's symbolism, but also people who continually "chew their cud or conflicts", and have a hard time letting those go. Issues with this joint also reflect back or tie into the Atlas-Axis joint.

Atlas-Axis/C1 Joint

This is also another very important joint in regards to all the other joints. This joint helps you to hold your head up to see the horizon, a better tomorrow and the light from above. It also ties in with many, if not all, of the previous joints due to its connection at the top of the spine as well as its strong connection to the sub-occipital muscles and the fascial tissue that runs all the way from the eyes up through the skull down the back along the spine and all the way to the tips of the toes.

Skull Sutures

The skull sutures are all about completing and beginning again. We find a strong connection with the connective tissue (how you hold life together) and the aspects of "conflict" in general. This is also a really nice therapy to utilize when working with a client in the themes of Conflict Resolution and Prenatal Trauma issues.
