There are many holistic health and energy healing modalities available around the world, but how are they different? What makes them unique? Why is it different? Let’s learn & explore some of these fantastic tools!

What is Druidism?

What is modern Druidism and how is it celebrated today? Meet with the Northern Roots Grove and find out about the variety found within Druidism.

 

 

About Northern Roots Grove

Northern Roots Grove is a pan-Druid group which started forming in July 2015 with a focus on studies, discussion, celebration and worship with regular meet-ups in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area. At the current time, this group is not associated with any national group (i.e. ADF, OBOD, etc.).

Vision
NRG is an eclectic Druid Grove dedicated to sharing Druidic inspiration, knowledge, and practices to sustain a balance of social, spiritual and educational activities for our members.

Our Mission

  • We welcome and draw from a variety of sources and traditions within Druidry.
  • Each member is empowered and encouraged to contribute to the Groves’ activities.
  • We maintain a safe and welcoming environment and each member is responsible for abiding by the Member Agreement.
  • We host a variety of educational meetings, rituals and social activities directed by our members’ needs and interests.

KitchariEvery two months we experience a seasonal shift which can be a tough time for our body and mind.

In this workshop, we will make a kitchari for us to share and while that is cooking you will learn:

  • about the energies of the coming fall season (Vata) we are going into
  • What your Prakruti (original make-up) and Vikruti (your imbalances) are
  • different ways you can customize your kitchari for you/vegetables & other modifications for each dosha
  • tips for natural ways to help reduce stress and boost your overall wellness for the season to come

This class will be taught on a recurring basis right around the start of the new seasonal switches.
