The Season of Spring
The LiverSpring is the long-awaited change from winter to spring, for new life, the warmth of the sun, and the beginning of outdoor activities. There is the promise of renewal and new life all around, and that things again will prosper.During the spring season, we see that the Liver Chi is very active. During this time, repressed anger and rage start coming to the surface more-so than normal to be processed. We also see a rise in allergy symptoms as the liver plays a crucial role with them. There are a wide variety of ways to help process through this. |
| (continued from left)Foods like green sprouts, dandelion leaves or flowers and Arugula lettuce are very nice, herbal teas that include burdock root, milk thistle and dandelion root are also excellent additions. For color light therapies, doing the 3-point GB therapy is very nice (GB14, Liv13 & GB41 in yellow, each for 30 seconds), or ‘washing’ the liver area in yellow light for about 2 minutes. During the spring, we are also going through a detox process as we see that the liver filters many toxins out of the body, so it will go a long ways in your overall health and for the year to come in helping to support this vitaly awesome organ!
